Daxi DACEE Private Kitchen is located along the northern section of the World Heritage-listed Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in Hangzhou. It forms an intriguing coexistence with the modern buildings both behind and across the canal. By minimizing overt design elements, the space creates a more engaging relationship between its interior and exterior. The restaurant has been awarded the Excellence Award in the Spatial Arrangement Aesthetics category (Commercial Space).
Shoku-tei Sushi embraces the philosophy of “Honoring the Authentic Taste,” focusing on a premium Japanese dining experience. In terms of lighting design, the overall space features a low-luminance, high-CRI environment, with precise control over beam angle and layering to highlight the true colors of ingredients and the craftsmanship of the cuisine. Creating a serene and elegant atmosphere that enhances guests’ attention to and appreciation of the food’s authentic flavors, the interplay of light and shadow conveys a spatial character where Japanese aesthetics seamlessly merge with modern high-end dining.
